Overcome Your Test Anxiety
for Academic Success
with
W. Keith Sutton, Psy.D.
With school under way, many students are facing anxiety about tests that they have to take. Whether it be classroom tests, SSAT, SAT, GRE, MCAT, Bar Exam, or other exams, test anxiety can cause a great amount of stress and cause your performance to drop. In this workshop, we will discuss the nature of stress and test anxiety reactions, learn how to flip the stress switch off, how to combat self-defeating thoughts, and test taking strategies for your success. In addition to tips for dealing with stress, we'll also discuss ways to manage your time, be more organized, and have time to enjoy life, rather than constantly studying or stressing about studying when not doing work. This workshop is geared towards middle school, high school, college, and graduate school students. Parents are welcome and encouraged to join their student at the workshop.
